| The National
electronic Resident Agreement (NeRA) software is an electronic application designed to
assist aged care facilities in handling the process of generating resident agreements as
required by the Aged Care Act 1997.
Launched by ACAA and
ACSA to support a national approach to resident agreements, NeRA is the first in
collaborative information-sharing nationally and across sectors.
The
associations are taking on the responsibility of maintaining the currency of the
agreements and data supplied by the Department, and also providing an easy-to-use
electronic front end to assist with accurate and timely completion of the required
documentation.
